President's Report - ARTHUR GREEN

Our Annual Show in Mystic CT was held on May 1st & 2nd. This years’ show was an overall success with improvements in member and general public attendance. The door attendance was up about 22% from 2009. This show was highlighted by Educational Displays, our Saturday Night Auction, Annual Custom Knife Raffle and a great variety of Custom, Antique, & Military Knives, plus Knife Making Material, and all sorts of items related to things that cut, all in attendance seemed to have a great time. After the show set up on Friday evening the Annual Board of Directors Meeting and Election of Officers was held. The current slate of officers was unanimously re- elected. (Moe Legare graciously agreed to stay on as Treasurer and data Base Manager, due to the fact that NO ONE stepped forward to fill these positions, we are still looking for an individual or two to fill these positions.

Thanks again to Larry Clifford and family and Dominick Violante for all of their efforts in making this a great show. The 2011 Mystic show will again be coordinated by Board Members Larry Clifford & family and Dominick Violante.

Our next show will be on Sunday October 17th in Bristol CT. Make your plans and reservations early.
